The story of Signet XS

The Claim

A picker is a piece of gold big enough to pick out of the pan with your fingers.

Prospectors have a word for a piece of gold bigger than a flake but smaller than a nugget: a picker, the one you pinch out of the bottom of the pan with your fingers. The great collections keep small pieces too. In the Diamond Fund at the Moscow Kremlin, next to nuggets weighing tens of kilograms, there is one of just 20 grams. Signet XS is the smallest of our signets: a small flat square face of nugget plates on polished shoulders that narrow into a slim band.

Your usual size, measured on the finger you will wear it on, your little finger for a pinky ring. Signet XS is not a wide fit, so no half size up is suggested. We cast the exact US size you pick, 4 to 15, half sizes included.
