YOUR ORDER, YOUR VISIT, YOUR CHOICE
Privacy.
Effective October 14, 2026.
We collect what we need to make and ship your ring, and nothing to sell. Here is what that means.
I Want My Nugget is a trade name of Q Fine Jewelry, Inc., a California corporation, 11645 Anabel Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92843, United States. It is responsible for the data described here.
What we collect for an order
Your name, email address, delivery address and order details: design, metal, size and engraving. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
If you leave your email on a ring page to hear when orders open: that address, and the ring, metal and size you picked.
Why we use it
To make and ship your order and to help you with it. With your consent, to send you our mailing list; you can unsubscribe at any time from any of those emails. To meet our legal obligations, such as tax records. And in our legitimate interest in improving our service.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the shop: Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, our database and spam protection, Resend to send our emails, the carrier that delivers your parcel, and the workshop that makes your ring.
If the business is sold or merged, your information may be transferred to the new owner as part of it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, for example in answer to a court order or a valid request from a public authority.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 4 years, for tax purposes. Some data is deleted automatically every day: orders never paid after 30 days, price locks 30 days after they expire, price alerts never confirmed after 7 days, and price alerts you turned off 30 days after you turned them off. To stop automated abuse of checkout, we count how many checkouts a connection starts, under a one-way code made from its IP address, never the address itself; each count is deleted after one hour. Measurement data follows the rules below.
If you join the list to hear when orders open, we keep your address and the rings, metals and sizes you picked until you unsubscribe, or 24 months after your last signup, whichever comes first. After you unsubscribe we keep only your address on a do-not-email list, so we never email you again.
Where it is processed
These providers may process your information in the United States and in other countries.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, and object to marketing at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
To use these rights, email support@iwantmynugget.com.
Measurement
We want to know which links bring people to our rings. We don’t need to follow you around the internet to do that.
What we measure
For US visits, we save the source, medium, campaign, and content labels from a link’s UTM parameters, the referring website’s domain, and the first public page you land on. We keep the first visit’s labels for up to 30 days, even if you return from a different link.
The cookie is called iwmn_attribution. It belongs to this site, is sent only with same-site requests or allowed top-level navigation, and cannot be read by page scripts. It contains no visitor ID, email address, or device fingerprint. We discard URL queries other than those campaign labels, including order links and advertising click IDs. Invalid or contact-like labels are discarded.
We count product-page views, use of the ring configurator, new price locks, checkouts that successfully open, and paid orders. We also count new waitlist and price-alert subscriptions once those features record them. These are action counts, not a record of one person’s browsing history.
When you sign up or order
We attach those same first-visit labels to the signup, price lock, price alert, or order record. Your email address and order details are handled separately to fulfill the request. Our measurement events and reports do not contain your email, engraving, address, order number, full referring URL, IP address, or browser details.
We use Cloudflare’s country signal to limit this measurement to US visits. We do not store the country signal in these reports. Visits with an unknown location are not measured. Security and payment systems may separately process information needed to protect the site and complete a purchase; Stripe processes payment details.
Your bag
The ring in your bag (design, metal, size and engraving) is kept in this browser’s local storage, under iwmn-bag, so it is still there on your next page. It holds no email, no price and no measurement data, and it is sent to us only to price the ring and to start checkout. It is cleared when an order goes through or when you remove the ring.
Recently viewed
Ring pages remember the last rings you opened in this browser’s local storage, under iwmn:recently-viewed, to show them again on the next ring page. It holds only the rings’ names, links and pictures, and it is never sent to us. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.
How long we keep it
The attribution cookie expires after at most 30 days and is not extended by return visits. A daily job deletes individual measurement events and attribution links once their UTC date is 90 days old. Daily totals remain for comparing performance over time. Random event receipts remain to stop a replayed payment notification from being counted twice; they contain no customer details.
Deleting measurement records does not delete the order, request, or email-subscription record needed to provide the service. Aggregate reports show counts by channel, registered campaign, week, and product. They do not show individual customers.
No advertising pixels
This measurement uses our own site and Cloudflare database. We do not send these events to Meta, TikTok, Google Analytics, or an advertising network. We do not combine visits across websites, sell this measurement data, or use it to target ads.
Turn measurement off
We skip measurement when your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT). You can also turn it off here. Shopping, price locks, and email signup still work.
This clears the attribution cookie and saves a separate first-party preference, iwmn_measurement=off, for one year. It affects future activity in this browser, not totals already collected. To undo that preference, remove this site’s cookies in your browser settings. GPC and DNT still take priority.
A payment notification can still complete the count for an order whose source was recorded before you opted out. We do not use that notification to track further browsing.
If you have joined the list or placed an order and need help with the information you supplied, reply to an email we sent you.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use the email address you gave us, we’ll tell you by email before it applies.
