The River

Cleanup was the day a miner found out what the work had paid.

At the end of a run of work, the miner does the cleanup: everything that has collected behind the riffles of the sluice is gathered up, gold and black sand together. It is the one moment you see what you have really earned. In the Klondike, cleanup came in spring, when the gravel piled up over the winter was washed. Nugget Band 8 mm is the middle width, nugget plates all the way round, for every day.

Your order details identify the selected metal. The weight is estimated from the 3D file we cast from. A cast ring comes out 2 to 3% lighter than its file, and the range shown already includes this. Your price is fixed when you pay and is never adjusted to the weight; your certificate records the actual weight. The interior is measured on the 3D design; finished samples still need workshop verification.

Shipping
Made to order: cast in your size after you order. Workshop time: about 2 to 3 weeks, then carrier transit. Free shipping in the US.
Changes
Before casting starts, changing the size or the engraving is free: reply to your order email. Changing the metal, or a change that needs a new casting once casting has started, means a new production cycle and is charged. We confirm the cost with you before doing anything.
Returns
A catalog ring without engraving can be returned for a refund within 30 days of delivery. Engraved rings and rings modified at your request cannot be returned. You pay the return shipping, and a ring that does not come back in its original condition is refunded minus its loss in value. Returns and resizing

The River

Placer gold is gold the river has already freed from the rock and dropped in its gravel. These are bands textured all the way round, like gold-bearing gravel lining a riverbed.

My uncle runs a jewelry workshop and makes engagement rings for brides. I develop the designs; each one is a 3D file, measured for its weight in every metal and size. His workshop casts the ring in your size after you order, and the certificate gives the metal and the cast weight.

Our story

14K, vermeil or silver

14K keeps the warm yellow of our pictures, and its price follows the gold price. Vermeil is the same ring in sterling silver covered with 18K gold, and sterling silver is the same ring again. Sterling silver and vermeil have a fixed price per design.
